Features and Prices
The fixed-flange version of metal bellows axial expansion joints is the type that is connected to the system with a fixed flange.
Fixed-flange metal expansion joints are widely used as expansion elements in pipeline projects, chemical plants, steel industry applications and heat recovery systems. Thanks to their flexible structure, they withstand pressure, temperature and corrosion and help protect the system.

METAL BELLOWS EXPANSION JOINT
Metal bellows expansion joints are flexible connection elements that absorb vibration, elongation and contraction caused by temperature or the flowing medium in the system.
They compensate thermal expansion along the pipe axis and can be used in all types of pipelines to control thermal balance and mechanical expansion.
They are used in machinery, piping systems and pump outlets.
AXIAL EXPANSION JOINT PRODUCTS
Axial expansion joints are designed to compensate axial elongation and contraction in pipelines. They absorb thermal expansion that occurs between two fixed points on the line, as well as vibrations generated by pumps and fans.
Different types of axial expansion joints are available depending on the application.
TYPES OF METAL BELLOWS AXIAL EXPANSION JOINTS
Metal expansion joints come with different connection types such as rotating (loose) flange, fixed flange, weld-neck and sleeve-type slip connections. The connection design determines the installation method.
FIXED FLANGE METAL BELLOWS AXIAL EXPANSION JOINT
The fixed-flange type is used in flanged piping systems and reduces installation time and labor.
ROTATING FLANGE METAL BELLOWS AXIAL EXPANSION JOINT
Metal bellows axial expansion joints can also be supplied with rotating flanges. They are available in stainless steel or carbon steel options. They are manufactured as standard for 16 bar pressure and can be adapted for higher pressures upon request.
WELD-NECK METAL BELLOWS AXIAL EXPANSION JOINT
Weld-neck expansion joints operate between -80 °C and +427 °C. Optional versions are available for operation up to +1100 °C.
During installation, the bolt holes of the opposite flange must be aligned, and the expansion joint must not be twisted.
APPLICATIONS OF FIXED FLANGE METAL EXPANSION JOINTS
Fixed-flange metal expansion joints are especially used in high-pressure applications.
They are preferred in machinery, pumps, compressed air lines, steam systems, hot and cold water systems, engines, exhaust and gas lines, as well as superheated water and oil applications.
